It's amazing what one can do with a scrape of newspaper comic! We spent hours counting cars, naming colours and then deciding which car belongs to who!! By the way, the green car is "Yi Kong's" Guess who is Yi Kong??
Then the familiar Hansel and Gretel is given a modern twist. Count the lollipops...... and of course who can ever miss out the loveable "Spiderman"
Yi Kong was like a doting grandfather to Ryan. Ryan had become so attached to his Yi Kong that he was literally inconsolable when he couldn't find his Yi Kong. The maid tried to distract him but he went round the shopping mall looking for Yi Kong. When he saw me, he wailed, " I cannot find Yi Kong!!" The tears stopped only after he saw the Yi Kong emerging from one of the stores. While at the shopping mall (1 Utama), the boy dragged him to see some cars and then whispered to him "You buy me a car?" Pretty sneaky eh? I can well imagine our future grandchildren trying to worm some goodies from us too!! We must learn to foolproof ourselves from onslaught of grandchildren's wiles!!

i recently bought the complete fairy tales from the Grimm brothers. perhaps a book to handed down to the future generations.
this Ryan really looks like "crayon boy"... i cant help staring at him and comparing him to the comic book character.
