NIECE'S A CALLING

Lyana, our niece's working visit to KK was much welcomed. It was another excuse to 'eat out' ! We went to a new seafood eatery. Here's a happy uncle with his niece!

The niece's cheeky grin declaring... "Crabs, here I come!" It was good to see her enjoying her food.

We took the opportunity to have a sneak peak of her room in Hyatt.

Imagine ! Her last visit was almost 7 years ago. Ashley, our other niece came last April but it was 'touch and go' as her visit coincided with our departure for Perth. We hope more of our nieces and nephew would visit KK.

BOUNTIFUL HARVEST

Planted taiwan pak choy, long beans and bitter gourd yesterday. Planted cilantro today. Cilantro is not a herb one would use everyday but like spring onions and basil, it's nice to just step out in the garden to pick some whenever one needs to.

 The choy sam leaves have grown. Time to pick some for dinner tonight.

 Bayam, although not one of my favourites, is doing well

 These lovely basil gives my salad a sweetist, minty taste

Looks like I won't need to buy papayas for the rest of the year.
