MILESTONES

16 April 2009 marked another milestone in my life as the youngest in the family graduated from the University of Newcastle, Australia with 1st class honours. It was another proud moment in my life as I watched him walked up the stage to the mention of his name ; "Paul Lee, Engineering, 1st Class".

Of course I wished Serene and Samuel were here to share the moment with us.

The words from "Fiddler on the Roof" came to my mind as we posed in front of the university library : (With a bit of modification) - Is this the little boy I carried? Is this the little boy at play ? I don't remember growing older........., when did he grow to be such a man....... Was it so long then.....?" ( The same feeling I had on Serene's wedding)

But deep down I know that whatever he does, and wherever he may be he's still the boy I know who loves his food..........

and enjoy our shopping trips to the supermarket....... (sigh contently)
