In just a few more days Serene and the grandchildren will be here with us. In anticipation of their stay with us, I've made a potful of broth. The pork bones have been simmering in the pot for 8 hours already. And the kitchen smells fantastic!
After straining the broth, it will be set to cool and the fat skimmed away. What's left will be gelatinous delicious broth for soups, bubur and other good eats. Yum!
