Somewhere in the bible it says " He keeps a record of your tears. Your tears are stored in tear bottles..." or something like that. I think I should get 3 tear bottles for dad. One for each child whenever they leave home. It was always dad who took the children to and from school each day when they were young. And when they were ready for college, it was dad again - went with Serene to Perth. Accompanied Sam to KL. Only Paul travelled on his own to Sydney. I remember the day we sent Paul to the airport - after Paul went to the airport waiting room, dad rushed to a high spot near the archive building. It was a hillock and there we had a panaromic view of planes flying in and out from the airport. We strained our eyes southwest toward Brunei - and tried to visualise Paul's plane flying. Finally, when the plane disappeared from view, did he reluctantly drove home.
This CNY was indeed joyous - with Serene, MH, Sam and Paul celebrating with us. All too soon, the children, one by one had to leave. There were silent tears - hence the tear bottles. Of course dad would deny everything I said here - but that's the truth.

Very few literature describes father's love, do read Chu Chee Ching's "Silhouette"; great description about father's love. My dear BIL is an excellent father who showes his love not only to his own children, but the love extended to others (including my two girls). We are so proud of him and we all loved him very much for his love and kindness. God bless him! On that note we also need to give praise to the woman who keep the love and humour going,which kep the man happy, guess who is that lady???
We all have our own bottles... "weep with those who weep"... but when the right time comes we also "rejoice with those who rejoice!". Mom take care of dad, and dad take care of mom...
