For those of you who were unable to make it home for the CNY festivities, here are some photos of our activities. As usual, after the reunion dinner, the aunties gather to talk - about their children ( the moans and groans of parenthood - of the expensive education etc....relationships, heartbreaks the young people are going through). here we were joined by some of the younger set of adults.
Then of course, the men had their own corner, talking politics and economics........
The third set of young people have their own gang ........ the ever faithful swing still serves its purpose...... All aboard !!

As I looked at these young set of people - I just wonder how they'll turn out. As it is, they are so full of potential and raw talent. Given the right guidance and opportunities, I'm sure they'll go far.

On the second day of CNY, we drove to Mersing (my 1st posting). Mersing beach has really developed . Here, the young adults choose their 'dream island'.We met up with some friend in Mersing. (L to R) Siew Lan ( my student) with her husband Peter Wee. Mr Choy (the Kemahiran Hidup teacher) with his wife Yoke Lan ( English teacher) and yours truly and hubby. It was good to see them again after 30 years.
