MERDERKA BREAK

It started as a call for a reunion as David, our dear mentor from Fifth College days would be returning to his country and leaving Malaysia for good (this time). Previous 'farewells' ended with him and his family returning to Malaysia as 'things were not quite settled'. This time, they've put up their house for sale, move out and packed and ready to go.

Anyway, I was in KL earlier for a meeting and stayed with Ashley (Hui Min). It was my first time doing nothing at all in KL, except to eat and sleep. Dad joined me later and we had another sort of reunion with my sister and her family (minus my bro-in-law). After dinner we went to inspect Ashley's new apartment in Armanee Terrace ( sounds like Armani).
The apartment was sort of resort-like. Garden in the sky, swimming pool, gym and all the sports amenities. Certainly a very nice sanctuary after a hard day's work. Sorry no pics as we did not bring along our camera then. Anyway there's nothing much to see as the place is a wreck as Ashley is practically tearing down the whole place and rebuilding it. Think of Rasa Ria resort or Sutera Harbour and you will get the picture how the place looks like. It's going be quite exciting seeing the place coming up - choosing furniture, selecting colour themes etc....
