Well, the Day has finally arrived - the day when I'm officially tagged as 'senior citizen' It's scary when you think of it - if the government had not extended the retirement age, I would be twiddling my thumbs yesterday! On the plus side, it means I'll get airfare discount - banks will give me a slightly better savings rate - maybe I can even cash out my insurance policy!! Good wishes messages have been pouring in from friends and colleagues. It hasn't really sank in until I received this 'bouquet of roses' from my beloved husband. And to top it all, we had dinner in "Little Italy". On a more sober note, I remember the prayer of the psalmist "Teach us to number our days, ..... that we may gain a heart of wisdom" Ps. 90 :12
