Just a few kilometers from Yangshuo town (actually most of the scenic spots are in Yangshuo rather than Guilin) is another cultural park, showcasing the cultures of some of the ethnic minority groups.This park was developed by a Taiwanese investor. He saw the potential of the place's natural beauty. Several small islands were created and each island showcased the cultural attractions of each ethnic group. The theme of this park is based on the story "The Legend of Peach Blossom Land" by Tao Yuanming, a scholar from the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The peach trees here only blossom flowers and surprisingly don't bear fruits. As it was still early spring, we only saw some flowers.
There was a particular group whose costumes and dances rather resembled the Kadazan costume and the sumazau dance. One of the musical instruments looked like the sumpoton. (perhaps this minority could be related to the Kadazans?)

Apart from the beauty of the peach blossoms and the lovely bamboo groves, this place is just so-so. Just another cultural village.
